August’s Glossybox is a special birthday edition as they are celebrating 9 years! I absolutely loved this box design…as much as I enjoy the usual simple design, this looked really amazing and will be getting used as a storage box.
I was super excited about the Huda Beauty lip product but was disappointed with what I received as it was so far from any colour I would wear…I received the shade Lady Boss which is almost purple.
Next up is the Steve Laurant lip liner in Vogue, which again is too dark for me (I’m all about the nude lip). I also prefer a softer tip rather than a pencil.
Glossybox have recently launched their own brand of skincare and I received the eye boost cream which is perfect as since getting the puppy, the lack of sleep has definitely left my eyes looking and feeling pretty rubbish.
Another product that came just at the right time is the Brushworks complexion sponge. Mine is getting old and tatty and in need of replacing. This feels a bit hard compared to my Beauty Blender but is much friendlier on the purse strings!
Lastly is Molton Brown Rhubarb and Rose shower gel. I actually really like receiving shower gel samples and this smells amazing so I can’t wait to use it.
