September 2020 Glossybox

Another month, another beauty box! I have been loving my Glossyboxes recently and this month was no different. As well as a generous stash of beauty products, I was also pleasantly surprised with a full sized bar of Lindt chocolate! This month’s theme was Glossy spa so all products are related to creating your own spa experience at home…something I think we could all benefit from in these stressful times! With two full sized items and 3 trial sized items (not including the edible treat), Glossybox have outdone themselves once again! There aren’t any make up products this month and I’m okay with that, especially seeing as the theme is spa, make up is definitely not something I would be using!

First out the box we have MineTan Coffee Scrub (RRP deluxe mini £11, full size £18). I really like a coffee scrub but oh mu God they are so messy!! I’m still wading my way through my Frank Body coffee scrub so will wait until that is finished before I start this but I’m confident it will have similar results. I continue to persevere with coffee scrubs as even though they are a total pain to clear up, my skin always feels absolutely amazing afterwards!

Another shower product is Imperial Leather Foamburst Ultimate Moisture Golden Amber and Coconut Oil (RRP deluxe mini £2, full size £3). I’m actually using the exact shower foam at the moment as I absolutely love it and I am definitely not upset that I have received another one. You only need a little bit of this as it is super foamy and forms into a proper lather. It also smells fab and leaves my skin lovely and soft. LOVE!

Moving on to facial products is the Huda Beauty Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub (RRP deluxe mini £9, full size £34). I’ve a few Huda eyeshadow palettes which I am obsessed with…they have blown all my others out of the water, but this is my first skincare product from the brand and I am intrigued. This claims to buff away dead skin and impurities to leave skin glowing…I’ve only used once so far and one bonus is, my sensitive skin didn’t blow up! It did leave my face feeling seriously soft, but I’ll need to use a few more times before I decide for sure.

So, leaving the shower and now onto moisturiser, we have a full sized tube of Avant Supreme Hyaluronic Acid Anti-oxidising Duo Moisturiser which is worth a whopping £89! I haven’t tried this yet as want to finish my current moisturiser before opening this but I have received Avant products in previous boxes and have been really impressed so I’ve got high hopes for this!

Next out the box is a full sized Ameliorate Intensive Skin Therapy (RRP £15). I couldn’t figure out what this was and I’m not going to lie, I still don’t really know…but I think it’s basically a multipurpose product for any areas where you may have dry skin. This will come in handy as I often get dry elbows and such like and with the cold weather not far away, this will come in very handy.

As an extra treat this month, Glossybox threw in a bar of Lindt chocolate…you know, the red one! I’m surprised I haven’t scoffed it already but I can tell you now, it won’t be long before it’s gone.

So that’s it for beauty boxes this month, and I have to say Glossybox absolutely smashed it out the park. There isn’t a single product I don’t like but I’m most excited about the moisturiser and face scrub! I’ve seen the sneak peek for next month’s box and the design of the box alone has got me excited! September’s box is now sold out but you can subscribe now for October’s offering…and you can get 20% off your first subscription with this code https://www.glossybox.co.uk/referrals.list?applyCode=KIRSTY-R25
