I’m a bit late with this month’s Glossybox review but here it is…and it’s a good one! I must admit I was ever so slightly disappointed at first glance as the theme is Make-Up & Magic so I’d expected quite a make-up heavy box whereas it actually seems more focused on skincare this month. BUT after the initial disappointment, I was actually very happy with this month’s box and will get use out of everything which is not usually the case with beauty boxes!
As the theme is Make-up & Magic, I’ll start with the cosmetics! My favourite item is the La Splash eyeshadow palette (RRP £29) – I am loving the gold sleeve and the warm shades are just as pretty, with a good mix of matte and shimmer! The shadows apply and blend well and last all day so no complaints here!

The only other cosmetic product this month, and technically, it’s not actually make-up but a tool, is the Spectrum Collections blending brush. I love these brushes as they are always SO pretty…literally too pretty to use in some cases, but I’m super excited to add this to my collection and will definitely get a lot of use out of it.

Moving on to skincare, we have the Generation Clay Brightening Purple Clay Mask (RRP £19.30). I was very much looking forward to trying this as I’d heard good things about it, and I’m glad to say I wasn’t disappointed! This left my skin feeling soft and refreshed without the tightness after some clay masks. I’ll need to use it a few more times to see if it actually does anything more but I’m pleased with the results so far.
I received two face masks in this month’s box, but I’m okay with that as they are totally different and in my opinion, you can never have too many. This one is the Que Bella Recharge and Restore Moonstone Glitter Gel Mask (RRP £2.49), sounds fancy hey? Okay so I feel this is probably more for fun than promising life changing skin but I love the idea of a sparkly gel mask! This claims to rejuvenate, hydrate, detoxify, plump and reduce the appearance of fine lines…Hmmm, I’m sceptical. However, this mask was fun to wear and I love the gel texture…did it live up to all it’s claims? Probably not but my skin felt lovely and did look brighter in the short term…and for £2.49? I’d definitely use it again!

Last but not least is a hair product in the form of HASK Argan Oil Repairing Deep Conditioner (RRP £2.49) and I was very happy to see this as my hair is in need of some serious TLC! I’ve used this before and it always leaves my hair feeling lovely and soft and it feels much more manageable. Although it looks a small sachet, I get a good few uses out of it, and my hair is loooong!

And that’s it for November’s box. I am really happy with all the products and will definitely be using everything up, but I’m most excited about the eyeshadow palette as, even though the last thing I need is another palette, I adore the colours and will get lots of different looks from it. I’m already looking forward to December’s box as GB usually really try and pull it out the bag for the Festive season!
