Hurrah, I have finally made it to the end of 2023 (as we are almost entering May 2024)! I always love the December boxes as they are usually different designs and full of products you can use during party season! This year was no different and I loved the tin with it’s pink and gold design. But without further ado, let’s just see what was inside…
Starting with skincare this time, we have the Korres Poreless Skin Cream (full size RRP £29). This cream claims to remove excess oil and reduce the appearance of pores while providing hydration to skin. I liked that this had a light consistence, it didn’t feel heavy on my skin and it was super hydrating. It was a small tube so didn’t last long but I really enjoyed using this cream and would definitely use again.

As an extra treat, subscribers received a little pot of Nivea moisturising cream…this was something that I also received in my October box so I won’t provide a review for this seeing as I just wrote about it but basically, too thick for face, good for hands and body. End of.

Moving onto make-up and one of my favourite products in December’s box, the Lottie London eyeshadow quad (Full size RRP £5.95). Now these eyeshadows may be budget but I really liked them. I loved the neautral shades and the shimmers were gorgeous . They all applied smoothly and blended well, plus the packaging is small enough to carry around if you need to top up throughout the day/evening.

Another make-up product I received was the MUA x Glossybox Blushed liquid cream blush is Dusky Rose. I don’t know how much this costs but it is a good size for a liquid blush and I liked the dusky pink colour. It looks quite dark when it comes out but leaves a lovely, rosy tint on cheeks. I dabbed this on with the heel of my hands and blended with a brush and both outcomes were really natural and pretty. I’m still using it now so the tube is lasting a while too!

I would say my other favourite product in this box was the Nails Inc nail varnish but I already have it in the same shade which is annoying…I’m sure I’ll get round to using it at some point though. A beautiful pinky nude shade, this polish apples really nicely and one coat is almost enough…almost. After two, it looks super glossy and not a patch in sight…it’s the perfect shade for all year round.

Last out the box is the Brave. New . Hair. Coconut Cuddle hair cream (Full size RRP £18.55). This is described as a moisturising cream which contains cocount, quinoa and green walnut (sounds like a nice salad to me). I applied this to towel dried hair and although I wasn’t blown away, my hair did feel nice and soft afterwards and didn’t feel heavy or weighed down. I used the bottle but I can’t say it had enough of an effect on my hair to make me want to purchase it again.

And here we are, finally the last post of 2023 (of Glossyboxes anyway). I’d say this was a great box to end the year…I loved the eyeshadow palette and the nail varnish and the blush was also a lovely addition. In fact, the only product I wouldn’t consider using again is the hair cream and even that was alright. Now let’s see if I can get January’s box review out before the end of April!
