I don’t seem to have taken any pictures or have a record of my February Glossybox so am skipping straight to March…probably for the best considering how behind I am with these posts. I also don’t have a photo of the full March box so individual pics will have to do this month, though I’m sure this isn’t the end of the world. This box was a goodie though so it’s definitely worth taking a look!
Starting with make-up, we have the Ciate Dewy Blush Glossy Cheek Tint in shade Papaya (Full size RRP £19). I loved the size of this little blush as I always find liquid blush lasts ages and I can’t get through the tube, so this dinky size was perfect. The colour is so pretty, a lovely light, coral shade…it isn’t too pigmented and you can build the colour to suit you which I love. The only downside is that I found it didn’t wear that well and completely disappeared after a while…I had to add a powder blush on top to try and keep a flush of colour all day.

The next make-up item and possibly my favourite product from the March box is the Laritzy Cosmetics Lip Gloss in shade Verdict (RRP £12.45). I’ve received a few of these in previous beauty boxes but I don’t mind as I just love them…the nude shade is perfect for me and I love the glossy finish. It’s not too sticky and feels light on my lips, there is nothing negative I can say about this…Love it!

The final make-up product was the Doctors Cosmeceutical Photo Face Primer (RRP £89). I have to say I was very surprised when I saw the price as I’d received this previously and wasn’t blown away with the results. I applied this before applying my make-up and it did leave my skin feeling smooth, though I didn’t see any visible difference. My make-up applied well over the top but again, no real difference than with any other primer I’ve used. It is a nice product, but definitely not worth £89.

Moving on, we have the Avant perfume in Persian Sunset (100ml RRP £114, 10ml £22.40). I wasn’t sure I was going to like this but boy was I wrong, this smells so nice. I don’t know how to describe fragrances so I’m not going to try but I felt this could be worn day or night and the scent lasted for a good length of time too. The only downside was that the spray applicator didn’t work properly so although it would spray a fine mist most of the time, it also squirted out and left stains on my clothes at times, so I didn’t use it when I was wearing things such as satin. The 10ml bottle is also the perfect size for popping in a handbag when you’re on the go!

The last item from the March box was the Sophia + Mabel Beauty Blender (RRP £13). This was a welcome addition as the dog had recently decided to use my Beauty Blender as a chew toy. The sponge isn’t as squishy as my original beauty blender but once damp, it applies my make-up really nicely without leaving any patches or marks. I use this to apply my foundation and concealer and it does a stand up job…I haven’t tried to apply any liquid or cream blush or contour products so can’t comment on it’s effectiveness in that department but I’ve had no issues so far and am enjoying using it…let’s just hope the dog doesn’t find this one!

And that’s it for March’s offering. I really liked this box and got use out of everything…I particularly liked the lip gloss and the perfume, I’d be happy to see either of those again. The blush and the primer were nice, just not special enough that I would repurchase, but I’m glad I got to try them out.
