November Glossybox 2o24

Yikes, here we are at November’s Glossybox – a definite treat during the colder days and dark nights! This box was packed with goodies and a few fab full sized products too, with a focus on those to help keep skin in tip top condition when it’s cold outside and central heating is causing mayhem indoors…

I’m going to start with make-up this month (shock), and first out the box was the Ciate Sweet Kiss Illuminating Blusher (RRP £20). I will admit, I was slightly disappointed when I first took the out the box as the packaging looked a bit cheap and flimsy but as soon as I opened it up I immediately changed my tune. This blush is SO pretty! A gorgeous fairly deep pink shade with a touch a sparkle throughout (it doesn’t look glittery on the skin). I’ve been going in with a light hand and building up if need be and it gives a lovely, radiant flush of colour. I really loved this and am still using it now, an excellent find!

Moving on, we have the Basic Beauty Tweezers (RRP £16.12). These feel nice and sturdy and have been good at precision plucking my eyebrows…I also love that they are pink. I can’t say I needed another set of tweezers but they have also made their way into my make-up bag. It’s always good to have a spare pair…or three, right?

Next up is a favourite brand of mine, the Molton Brown Orange and Bergamot Body Lotion (RRP £6, full size RRP £30). First and foremost, this smells INCREDIBLE! I absolutely love the deep, citrusy scent with a hint of musk…it transports you straight to the spa! The lotion itself is light but very moisturising and leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth. It also sinks in really quickly, so you can get dressed swiftly and are not left shivering in the cold! It may have been a small bottle but I loved using every drop!

From a small tub to a large one, we have the full sized Kueshi Renewal Grapefruit Body Scrub (RRP £17.10). I knew I would like this as soon as I took it out as I love anything with grapefruit. I wasn’t disappointed as this has a lovely, citrus scent which fills the bathroom when I use it. The actual scrub isn’t too harsh, just enough to gently exfoliate the skin, leaving it soft and smooth…not red raw. It is a generous size and over a month later I still have most of it left so I still have a while to go before I have to think about replacing the tub.

Last but certainly not least is the Pomegranate Brightening Eye Lift Serum(RRP £59 but currently on sale for as little as £6.99 which I find a bit sus). I had just run out of eye cream when this arrived so this came at the perfect time. I have been using this serum for the last month or so and it does feel nice and refreshing on my eye area, it sinks in quickly but I can’t say I have noticed any visible difference to the appearance of my skin. It’s a bit gloopy to get out of the pipette and I it often ends up on the side of the bottle which is annoying. All in all, it certainly isn’t worth £59 but it is a nice product and I’ll continue to use it until I have finished the bottle.

So there we have November’s Glossybox. All in all, I really liked the contents of this box, in particular the blush and the body scrub. I’ve been getting use out of every item and have genuinely enjoyed using them all.

Until next time (last box of 2024!),
