These belated Glossybox posts are becoming a bit of a habit now aren’t they? Though I did have a very busy few months with lots of socialising and then a month in the lambing shed! But let’s go back to February, when Glossybox sent out a box of products aimed at focusing on self care and our relationship with ourselves…let’s go!
I’m going to start with my favourite item from February’s box which is a full sized Blursh Bronzed Liquid Bronzer (RRP £16). I’d seen this brand all over social media but had never tried anything so I was seriously stoked to see this and thankfully I was not disappointed. This has a liquid to powder finish which I apply directly to my skin and blend with a buffing brush. Unlike a lot of bronzers, this is a cool toned bronze and effortlessly adds dimension to my face, without looking orange. It blends like a dream and doesn’t remove make-up underneath…fabulous product!

Next up is another full sized make-up product, the Oulac Glow Glamour Dual Liner in shade Body Talk (RRP £8). This can be used on both eyes and lips and I can confirm it looks great on both. This isn’t something I’d choose from the shelf as I feel that the packaging looks quite old fashioned but I’m so glad I’ve been given the opportunity to try this as it is really lovely. The creamy formula glides on like a dream, no tugging or pulling and doesn’t need multiple coats to get an even colour. This particular shade is a bit darker than what I would usually wear on my lips but it is the perfect shade of eyeliner when you want something softer than black. Another winning product this month!

Moving on to hair we have the We Are Paradoxx Thickening 3-in-1 Conditioner (Deluxe size RRP £12.50). This is a multi-use conditioner which can be used as a daily conditioner, hair mask and finishing creme. It claims to strengthen hair, increase thickness and leave hair smooth and glossy. I am always looking for hair products that will give my limp locks a bit of oomph so this was another product I was looking forward to trying. I don’t wash my hair every day so I used this as a hair mask and was very impressed with the results! My hair felt so soft and manageable after using this, I couldn’t stop touching it. Was there a difference in thickness? I can’t say I noticed, but as it’s a conditioner, I only used it on the mid-lengths and ends…Ideally, it would have been great to try with the matching shampoo (always one of my gripes Glossybox). I haven’t purchased this since I finished it but I really liked the results so I am tempted to try the pair together.

Another hair product which I was very excited about was the Brushworks Wave Claw Clip (RRP £5). I love the look of this wavy clip, it’s a bit different to the usual claw clips and is fun but chic at the same time. This holds my long hair up well and is the perfect neutral shade. No further comments needed.

Last but not least we have the Bubble T Cosmetics Vanilla Muse Body Mist (RRP £6.99). I wasn’t sure I would like this at first and expected it to smell sickly sweet but I was actually pleasantly surprised. Don’t get me wrong, it is still quite a sweet scent but it wasn’t as strong as I was anticipating and it lingered nicely throughout the day. This isn’t something I would purchase again but I enjoyed using it…I just prefer wearing perfume.

So there we have February’s offering…a pretty good box I’d say. I loved the liquid bronzer in particular and also regularly use the hair clip and eye/lip liner. I’ve also finished the hair conditioner and body mist so there was literally nothing in this box that I haven’t got use out of. Until next time,
