April Glossybox 2025

And let’s throw it back to what was a glorious Spring with the April Glossybox. The theme this month was Spring into Colour and focused on the vibrancy of the season and fresh looks, whether natural and glowy or with a pop of colour. And without further ado, let’s see what was in that little pink box.

I’ll mix it up a bit by not go straight to the make-up this time and the first item out the box this month was the Sentier Noor Riviera Perfume (RRP £32). This is not a brand I had heard of before but I always love trying new fragrances so I was pleased to see this in my box. I could talk about the ingredients and notes and whatever else but they genuinely mean nothing to me and I’d be talking nonsense so all I can really say is that this smells lovely and dare I say it, elegant. It is light and quite subtle but still noticeable, perfect for daytime. I probably wouldn’t reach for it for an evening or night out but this is a very easy to wear scent that I reached for on a near daily basis until it ran out. I haven’t repurchased but I would gladly wear this again.

Next up is the Baija Suga & Egg White Facial Scrub (RRP £9.70). First of all, egg white in skincare? Not something I’d come across before but it certainly intrigued me (apparently egg white extract helps with firmness). This has an airy, almost meringue like texture (but thankfully not the smell) which was interesting. It doesn’t feel rough or scrubby which I liked and my skin felt lovely and soft after using. I haven’t repurchased this, I liked it but it didn’t wow me enough to actually purchase a tube.

Moving on to a product I was looking forward to try, the Dr Paw Paw Lip Balm SPF (RRP £4.95). I really like these lip balms anyway but loved the fact this one contained SPF as lips are often an area that get forgotten about when it comes to sun protection! This was a fairly thick balm which glided onto my lips and left them feeling so soft and smooth. It did have a bit of a taste due to the SPF but it wasn’t unpleasant. This has long since finished and is another product I liked but haven’t repurchased, however this is purely because I have since gained a stash of SPF lip balms that I need to work my way through before I buy another.

Next out the box, the Sophia + Mabel Small + Mighty Mascara Extreme Volume (RRP £15.70). I do like receiving mascaras but I am just so picky and often end up giving them away. Surprisingly, I actually did like this mascara, it gave a good amount of length and the brush managed to get even the smallest of lashes. It wasn’t quite as volumising as I would have liked but I could build up multiple layers without it getting clumpy. All in all a nice mascara, but I have others that I prefer.

Last and by no means least, the deluxe sized Molton Brown Fiery Pink Pepper Bath & Shower Gel (£6). I absolutely love this brand and these shower gels, I don’t think I could ever get bored of receiving these! Again, I won’t go into detail around the fragrance notes other than it is described as woody and spicy (whatever that means). Personally, I love the scent, I love the gloopy texture and it felt so luxurious when it foamed up in the shower. The scent is strong and lingered on my skin long after my shower had ended which I loved, I always think it is such a waste to have a nice smelling product when it disappears as soon as it’s applied. I can’t say enough good things about this shower gel but I have repurchased multiple bottles (in multiple scents) since I finished this.

And there we have it, April’s offering all tied up. I really liked this box and got a lot of use out of everything. The shower gel was my favourite product, if you hadn’t guessed that already, but I also loved the perfume and the lip balm. I also enjoyed using the face scrub and the mascara, so all in all this was a great box.
