September Glossybox 2025

Another day, another catch up blog post 🙂 I’m back with the unboxing of September’s Glossybox and this month the theme was September Secrets…I feel like they might have been clutching at straws with that one. Anyway, we were promised products that ‘enhance your natural beauty with a touch of Autumn elegance’…I’m not sure what that means but I was happy to find out. Oh and we were treated to a cute little beige bag this month which was a nice change from the usual pink box.

Starting with make-up, we have a full sized Saint Lux Beauty Rose Quartz Highlighter (RRP £14). I’ve received a few products from this brand over the years and while I’ve never been blown away by any of them, they have always been good, and this was a new one to me. It was quite small for a full sized item but I actually liked that as I never get through highlighters before I move onto another one, so this felt a bit more manageable. This highlighter is a shimmery rose gold/ nude shade and it looked very pretty in the compact. It applied so easily and wasn’t too in your face, just a subtle but pretty glow and I could build up as required. The packaging felt a bit light and flimsy but it held it’s own in my make-up bag…also the perfect size for on the go. All in all I really liked this highlighter and although I haven’t repurchased, that’s more because of my inability to stay loyal to highlighters in general. Pleasantly surprised.

Next up we have the Glowcore Glow Oil (RRP £14.90). This wasn’t a brand I had heard of before but I do love a lip oil so was pleased to see this in the box. This had a lovely fragrance but didn’t leave any horrible taste on my lips which I definitely appreciated. The oil itself felt nourishing but without the dreaded stickiness! It also added a bit of shine, not as much as a gloss but enough to leave my lips looking shiny and plump. I really enjoyed using this and was definitely a bit sad when I reached the end of the tube (yes I know I can buy another one but I have too many other products waiting to be used at the moment).

I actually received two lip products in September’s box, the second of which was the Dr Pawpaw Original Balm (RRP £7.25) – 3 out of 3 full sizes so far! I have received many versions of this in previous boxes but they are just so good that I didn’t mind this at all. The original is a classic for a reason, my lips felt soft and moisturised throughout the day and it is perfect for taking on the go or just to have lying around the house. No notes.

The next product I received, and yep, another full sized item, was the BYOMA Sensitive Retinol Oil (RRP £17.99). Now, I had used retinol before but never in oil form so I was intrigued by this. This is specifically for sensitive skin so if you have been too scared to try before, this is the product for you! I mixed a couple of drops with my night cream and massaged into my skin before bed and my skin felt soft and plump when I woke up. I will say it did feel slightly heavier than other oils I have used in the past but it didn’t clog my skin and I didn’t experience any reactions at all. I can’t say I noticed a remarkable difference in the look of my skin but it did definitely start looking brighter and fresher than usual. I really enjoyed using this and would absolutely repurchase.

The last item out the box and making it 5 out of 5 full sized products was the Glossybox Compact Mirror (RRP £15). In all honesty, I would usually feel that a compact mirror is a waste of a product but I had actually not long broken the one that rolls around in my handbag so this appeared at the perfect time. I loved the neutral shade and they leathery material, it actually felt quite luxurious. It’s sturdy enough to carry about and has a mirror on each side, perfect for doing make-up on the go (or checking for lipstick and food in your teeth.

So there we have September’s offering and I must say I thought this was a fantastic box, I don’t remember ever receiving 5 full sized products before. I genuinely loved everything in this box (and I never thought I would include a compact mirror in that), everything was a joy to use.

If you would like to join Glossybox you can use my code Kirsty-R25. Also, if you sign up now you can get the Glossybox advent calendar for just £75! If it’s anything like the past few years we are in for an absolute treat!

Until next time,
