December Glossybox 2025

Well well well, I’ve just realised that this is my 100th post on this blog…that’s a lot of product reviews! And how appropriate that the 100th post falls on the last Glossybox of the year! As with November, I now can’t remember what the theme was but you can be guaranteed it will have included products perfect for party season and if that was the case, I can safely say they delivered! The usual pink box was replaced with a cute red, velvety bag and the contents…well you will just have to read on to discover what was inside.

I’m going to start with hair this time, and the first item out of December’s box was the FUL Gloss and Shine Styling Cream (Full size RRP £24). This provides heat protection as well as hydrating, controlling frizz and adding shine to our barnets. This cream is really lightweight and doesn’t weigh my hair down, which is so important for me with my limp locks. My hair feels soft and sleek after styling with this and I love that it has heat protection too so no need for extra products. I will say, I haven’t noticed much of a shine boost but I would still use this as my hair looks and feels great after using. It also smells fabulous – always a nice extra.

Next out the box was a skincare product, the Avant Pink Orchid Subtle Restoring Overnight Serum (Full size RRP £89). I’ve received multiple products from this brand over the years and have to say, I’m usually really impressed. As directed, I applied in the evenings before bed and I have to say, this is another product that I am very impressed with. My skin felt gorgeously soft and hydrated by morning, noticeably so, and while there’s not much else I can say about it, I have since ran out and am trying to decide whether it’s worth the splurge. This is a fantastic serum, I love it, my skin loves it…do I need a night serum as well as a night cream? I’m not sure…but I think I might have to treat myself when I have some extra pennies.

Moving on to make-up (yay), we have the Sophia + Mabelle Hydrating Hybrid 2 in 1 Lipstick Balm (RRP £14). First of all, scroll down and look at the photo…how gorgeous does that look?! Honestly stunning! This really does what it says on the tin, the pop of colour of a lipstick and the hydration of a balm. I absolutely adore the nude colour, it is absolute perfection for me, and it really does glide over lips and leave them feeling hydrated rather than dry and tight. No notes, obsessed.

Another make-up product, perfect for party season was the Basic Beauty Eyeshadow Duo in shade Bronzy Duo (RRP unknown). This palette includes a deep brown/bronze and a shimmery gold shade, perfect for a glam eye. The shadows aren’t super pigmented at first but they are buildable so these work for a light daytime look and also for more intense evening glam. The shadows themselves apply smoothly and blend like a dream, they are really easy to work with. The compact is super cute too and the perfect size for popping in a handbag for when you need a top up.

Last but certainly not least, we have the Spectrum Collections Large Domed Shader brush (RRP £7.99). I absolutely love this brand and this brush is no exception…the deep red shade is GORGEOUS, far too pretty to be hidden away in a bag. The brush itself is perfect for eyeshadow application and of course, perfect for blending. This is now a staple in my make-up bag and I don’t think I’ll ever tire of receiving these.

And there it is, the final Glossybox for 2025 and what an ending it was. I loved this box (or should I say bag), the lipstick, make-up brush and serum were all 10/10 for me and I also really liked the eyeshadow palette and the styling cream. I genuinely got use out of every product and thoroughly enjoyed using them all.
